At the Annual Meeting of GAMM in Karlsruhe 2010, it was decided that every University / Institution, where a group of more then five GAMM members is present, may nominate a GAMM Representative. The names and e-mail adresses of the representatives will be posted on the GAMM website.
We ask the GAMM membership to nominate candidates at their institutions in order to build up the network of GAMM Representatives.
Duties of the GAMM Representatives will be among others:
- acting as contact person for current and potential GAMM members,
- collecting and organizing nominations for GAMM Juniors.
The GAMM aims at a well-balanced representation of the two fields Applied Mathematics and Mechanics among the GAMM-Representatives as well as at a well-balanced gender distribution.
